Goldwing Express is a Bluegrass, Country and Gospel band of three brothers and their father. Their mother, Juanita, who was a full-blood Native American Creek Indian, named the band "Goldwing Express" after their hobby of riding Goldwing Motorcycles in the 80's. When their children were young, they decided to buy the boys instruments. After 40 years, they are still entertaining. A segment of their performance is often dedicated to their Indian Heritage and they wear Native American headdress to represent their Creek Indian tribe. In Nashville, Tennessee, Goldwing Express was nominated for Bluegrass Entertaining Band of the Year by SPBGMA (Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America) from 2003-2006 and in South Texas won the Valley Star Family Entertaining Band of the Year in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas for 4 years.
